Here are a number of links to Internet sites which contain information and/or other links related to Drama and Theatre. Please read our disclaimer.
The mission of the Kennedy Centre's ArtsEdge is to "help artists, teachers, and students gain access to and/or share information, resources, and ideas that support the arts as a core subject area in the K12 curriculum." Teachers can keep up with arts news, interact with members of the arts and educational communities, access WWW resources (links are organized by discipline, e.g., dance, music, theatre, visual arts, etc.), and review arts-based curricular resources. Students can share their own works and links to a collection of web sites appropriate for children.

Didaskalia: Ancient Theatre
Didaskalia provides information about ancient Greek and Roman stagecraft, including actors, masks, costumes, sets and more.

Drama [The English Server]
This directory contains a number of plays, screenplays and discussions of drama and dramatic productions.

Improv Theme Page
This "Theme Page" has links to information on improv, including the history of improv, types of games, and practice activities. There's even a link where students can participate in an evening of on-line improv.

Jogle's Favorite Theatre-Related Resources
This is a "meta-list" of theatre related sites organized under categories such as books/media/music, newsgroups, people, shows and stagecraft. Not many of these sites are intended for a drama/theatre instructor, but you will find it useful for collecting information about theatre itself.

Masks Theme Page
This CLN Theme Page has acoupld of links on the history of the mask within theatre and the use of masks in Japanese Noh Drama.

Restoration Drama Homepage
This site has information about the theatre of the English Restoration (1660 to 1700). There are links to various dramatists (e.g., Behn, Congreve, Dryden, Etherege, Wycherley), links to background information (e.g., restoration masquerades), and links to other associated resources and pages.

Created by literature students at the University of Florida, this page contains: 1) articles about individual people connected with the British theater at the time; 2) articles about plays of the period; 3) articles about individual institutions, places, and topics connected with the theater; 4) a chronology of the time period, with year by year information about theatrical developments indicated by links to other articles; 5) a map of London, indicating sites important to the world of the theater; 6) a collection of pictures relevant to this study; 7) links to useful Internet sites and files; and even more.

A huge meta-list of links to Arts resources with a search engine that can focus on specific types of art, for example their drama database.
